How we handle milestone funds, code ownership, project access and delivery records.

Milestone fundsHeld until release
Code ownershipTransferred on release
Project accessScoped to your buildroom

What you control.

Every decision stays attached to the project.

Funding

One milestone at a time

Stripe handles payment. You can request a full refund before approval.

Review

Approve or raise a concern

Delivered work enters a seven-day review window. A concern pauses automatic release.

Ownership

Transferred on release

Rights in released milestone deliverables become yours, with repository access tied to the project.

What the system enforces.

These controls are implemented in the portal today.

Passwords and sessions

Passwords use scrypt with a per-user salt. Server sessions use HttpOnly, SameSite cookies.

Project access

Roles and project membership gate each buildroom. Repository access can be granted or revoked by project.

Release gates

Assigned milestone tickets must be client-approved before manual or automatic release.

Audit trail

Approvals, comments, payments and delivery events remain in the project record.
